Important update about Flip

At HCF, we believe the future of healthcare relies on innovative, forward-thinking solutions to improve the health outcomes of Australians. We actively champion innovation in this space; that's why we launched Flip Insurance, Australia's first on-demand accidental injury insurance.

After five years of Flip, we’ve made the decision to transition away from this product line and focus on new opportunities to innovate. Consequently, from 1 August 2026, Flip insurance products will no longer be available for new purchases or subscription renewals. 

To our customers and partners, past and present, thank you for believing in our vision and for all your support. It’s been an absolute privilege.

If you’re an existing customer, your policy remains active and unchanged and continues to be underwritten by HCF Life. Claims processes remain unchanged. If you have a claim, you can continue to lodge that with us through the mobile app. Please refer to your PDS for your cover details.

If you’re a participant in a Flip-covered event and you’ve registered with an Event Code, please visit Register with your Event Code. From there, you can easily view your active cover details and see exactly how to make a claim.

Alternative personal accident insurance products are available via the HCF Life Recover Cover range.
